Our Story

Christine’s Mikate was born from a desire to honour my mother´s traditional welcoming treat while adding a modern twist. Mikate—also known as Beignet, puff-puffs or African doughnuts —are a cherished part of our culture, often found at family gatherings, street markets, and celebrations throughout the occasions. We’ve taken her timeless recipe and carried it down through our generation and given it a delicious new twist, while still holding true to its roots.
